Why did I choose my website colours and fonts?

Did you know that vision impaired folks can better see text if using a dark background with white writing? My Dad has been vision impaired my whole life, until eventually going blind. When assisting him on his computer, I never questioned his inverted screen. One day I asked what his preference was and he said it’s much easier to read text this way. That is why I use a dark background and white letters.

Folks with Dyslexia have a tough time reading certain fonts. Adopting larger fonts, with appropriate spacing supports their reading of this website.
