Building Momentum Bikepacking Workshop

Building Momentum is a woman and non-binary specific bikepacking workshop built by women. It is a transformative, four-week series designed to empower women and non-binary individuals to explore bikepacking confidently. Taking place in Nelson, BC, between May 27 - June 22, 2025, this workshop offers a supportive, inclusive space for participants to build essential skills, forge connections, and grow their confidence in the outdoors. Four workshops will take place on the following dates May 27, June 3, 10, 17 from 5:30-8:30 PM. Location of event TBD. The event will end in an overnighter of the Frog Peak Loop.

This workshop has space for roughly 15 people. Applications close February 26, 2025. Decisions will be made by March 5, 2025. If your application was not accepted this round, we encourage you to apply again next time. APPLICATION FORM HERE.

PS. Are you interested in this workshop, but worried you don't have the right gear? No problem! It is designed to teach you how to use what you have and still have fun. We will also have an opportunity for gear sharing if you feel you don't have something essential (i.e., a tent or sleeping bag). We encourage those who may not have a bike to apply as we are aiming to source 1-2 bikes for the workshop as well. It is truly a workshop for everyone - regardless of equipment or skill :).
