New Article Alert: Exploring Ethical Space in land use planning: a case study of the Upper Columbia, British Columbia

Dr. Andreanne Doyon and I recently published an article in the Journal of Environmental Planning and Management titled, “Exploring Ethical Space in land use planning: a case study of the Upper Columbia, British Columbia”. In it, we explore what Ethical Space might look like in practice in a planning context.

When I sent the article to my family, my brother asked me to give a three-sentence summary in layman’s terms. This is what I came up with:

Be good to people. Make decisions together. All laws - Indigenous and colonial - are both valid and valuable.
